Difficult Shots

We have numerous shots on our media project which we have never attempted before, yet will allow out film to be more advanced and fluent.

Pulling Focus Tutorial

The very first difficult shot we will encounter within our film is when Fiona is waking up in bed and placing her glasses on her face. We are wanting to switch the focus on the camera so that it suddenly becomes the point of view of Fiona before she places her glasses onto her face. This shot will involve the focus starting off distorted then clearing and becoming focused the closer the glasses are to her face. Once the glasses are placed in her head the camera will have gained focus once more.

Driving Scene - Scary Movie Two

The second shot we have that is difficult is when Fiona is driving to the party. Since we need one person to film the driving scene there should only need to be two people in the car, Fiona and the person filming. We need to achieve the correct angle so the reflection of the person filming isn't visible anywhere within the car. Making it hard since all windows are slightly reflective and the shot we will need to film will have at least one mirror in the frame. The car will also be moving, so the camera will need to be held still even over the bumpy roads we will encounter.

Hand Held Filming - Handheld Horror

The third shot we will encounter is hand held filming. We are wanting to achieve a hand held perspective from someone filming the events of the party without showing the filming through a different camera. However we need to ensure that the hand held filming fits with the rest of our film and doesn't look too out of place.
